Dan Kendra
Dan Kendra is recognized as one of the greatest high school players in Pennsylvania high school football history. A former player at Allentown Central Catholic, Coach Kendra finished his high school career as an All-American and participated in the Big 33 game as a quarterback. Following his career he received a full athletic scholarship to West Virginia University.

While at West Virginia, Coach Kendra became a four-year starter, All-East QB, MVP of the 1976 Peach Bowl, and finished his career as the all-time passing and total yardage leader upon graduation. Following his illustrious career, he played professionally for the Los Angeles Rams and the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Coach Kendra is recognized as one of the most successful QB coaches in Pennsylvania and the tri-state area. During his 22 years of high school coaching every quarterback that has worked with him has gone on to play at the collegiate level. Some of his most notable athletes include Dan Kendra III who played at Florida State and was the National High School Player of the Year, Adam Bednarik, Big 33 & West Virginia University, Mark Borda, Lehigh University, and Steve Hunsburger, Columbia University. Joe Wooten
Joe Wooten brings a wealth of experience to the FASST program. He has played 5 years of semi-pro football for the Lehigh Valley Steelers where he was a 5 time all-star and the league’s defensive player of the year in 2001. He is currently playing for the Lehigh Valley Outlawz who are members of the Professional Indoor Football League. He was named honorable mention All-Pro in 2006 and has led the team in tackles in 2006 and 2007 while playing DB/LB.

Along with his playing experience, Joe is able to reach the numerous youth athletes who participate in FASST. He has been a youth football coach for the Bethlehem Steelers and is a FASST certified trainer. Joe’s ability to relate to the younger athlete is unmatched and we look forward to his continued contributions to our program. Contact FASST and Coach Wooten

Ryan Murphy
Ryan is a former three-sport athlete at Bethlehem Catholic High School. He participated in baseball, basketball, and football gaining All-State, All-Area, and All-Conference honors as a third baseman during his senior season.

Ryan brings his knowledge in strength and conditioning to create relentless workouts and is an intense addition to our strength program. He is certified through AAAI/ISMA in personal training and the ISSA as a specialist in sports conditioning. His specialty is working with combat athletes and is currently training for full contact fighting focusing on Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. He is a key part of our program that focuses on speed and explosive training for youth athletes all the way to our pros. Contact FASST and Coach Murphy
